Maddy Craig, Amitees Ghiasian, Daria Gerus, and Vivian Huang embraced new perspectives in their Communications for the Sciences course group task entitled, “Western Science vs. Traditional Ecological Awareness.” The challenge deepened their knowing of science by discovering Indigenous Peoples’ heritage and expertise-sharing lifestyle and comparing it to Western science. 

These pupils ended up amongst the very first to experience the freshly Indigenized Science Communication requirement formulated under the guidance of Savannah Sloat, the Supervisor of Science Indigenous Initiatives in just the School of Science.
